Contest Winners Announced!
A big thank you to everyone who submitted a photo and creative aperture design for the Get Appy Creative Aperture Kit contest. We were impressed by your creativity, ingenuity, and X-acto knife skills! After much deliberation, we're happy to announce the following winners.
Troy Eiffert is our 1st place winner. His Slots aperture design is a great example of aperture shape as texture, and how it can add a striking element to a photo. Troy says, "I created the slots aperture to achieve a vertical, horizontal or diagonal painterly effect depending on how it was placed in my Lensbaby Composer. This is by far my favorite and most versatile ap I have cut from the blank discs."
Our four runners-up impressed as well - check out their images and innovative shapes below. Now we'll get to work on making the new kit - we hope to have it available by the holidays. Stay tuned!
